Worldskills ACT Celebration

The International Plumbers Network proudly invites you to an evening dedicated to celebrating our future plumbing industry leaders. Join us as we celebrate the incredible apprentices who went head-to-head in the recent WorldSkills ACT Plumbing Competition at CIT Canberra.

This is a night for the entire ACT plumbing community, competitors, friends, and family to come together, network and recognise hard work and excellence.

• Date: Wednesday, 22 July 2026
• Time: 4:30 pm onwards
• Location: Contentious Character, 156/45 Eastlake Parade, Kingston ACT 2604
• Who Should Attend: Competitors, friends, family, teachers, inspectors. local business owners and all plumbers across the ACT.
• Dress Code: Smart casual (no work clothes, sorry!) — it's time to hang up the hi-vis, scrub up and enjoy a night off the tools!
• Free tickets to IPN members.

• Special Guest Speakers: Hear insights and industry reflections directly from the WorldSkills judges and representatives from CIT.

We are hosting this special celebration at the stunning Contentious Character Urban Winery on the Kingston Foreshore. Known for its spectacular waterfront views of Lake Burley Griffin, this venue provides a fantastic place for a relaxed, social evening. It’s the perfect place to network with others across the plumbing and celebrate the worldskills competitors with plenty of options along the foreshore for dinner and drinks afterwards.
