There are many different plumbing codes and standards used around the world and the table below provides an overview:

South Africa SANS 10252 (water supply), SANS 10254 (hot water), national building regulations
UAE, Saudi, Qatar National building codes largely based on IPC, plus utility authority rules
Chile, Argentina National building/plumbing codes referencing IPC/UPC or EN, local standards
